The National Hunger Free Community Summit (HFC Summit) is a one day event providing current and aspiring Hunger Free Community organizers – nonprofit, religious, private sector and public sector leaders committed to ending hunger in their community – a forum to hear from experts about innovative models for building community coalitions to end hunger; share lessons learned and successful strategies; and learn about best practices to coordinate hunger relief, leverage available resources and implement multi-year plans.
Summit participants will have the opportunity to network with groups doing innovative Hunger Free work around the country; identify common challenges and share effective strategies for improving coordination, reaching target populations and leveraging public and private resources; and gain access to tools designed to support Hunger Free work.

National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference (March 6th - 8th)
The National Hunger Free Communities Summit is being held at the Capital Hilton in conjunction with the National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference, March 6-8th. Summit registrants are encouraged to attend the Policy Conference to delve deeper into hunger policy, advocacy and program specifics. Summit participants who attend the Policy Conference will have the opportunity to lobby their members of Congress on Tuesday, March 8th, with hundreds of other hunger advocates from around the country.
