Harvesters – The Community Food Network is a coalition of over 620 charitable non-profit organizations serving a 26-county area in northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri. Our Mission: Harvesters—The Community Food Network feeds hungry people today and works to end hunger tomorrow. Our Vision: We envision a time when everyone in our community will have access to enough nutritious food to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Our work is accomplished through four key initiatives: Childhood Hunger, Senior Feeding, Feeding Families and Healthy Eating. In fiscal year 2012, we plan to distribute over 38 million pounds of food and household products.
