Milwaukee Public Schools began serving suppers at twenty-five schools. This resource assesses the current supper program to determine the impact it has on students, their families, staff, and the after-school programs. The goal of the study was also to identify the best practices and areas of possible programming improvement. Current Milwaukee meal sites were observed and interviews were conducted with out-of-state stakeholders. The findings provide insight into how the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) works and how it can be improved.
