This resources lays out Oregons goals to end hunger by 2015. This “call to action” guide encourages Oregonians to learn and address the root causes of why people are hungry and from there get involved in their communities. It gives insight to the importance of food assistance programs, but also why ensuring  economic stability is crucial in order to combat hunger. The guide essentially helps us understand why hunger is a problem in Oregon, how it affects all people, and what you can do about it. The central perspective of this resource is that substantial changes to our social and economic fabric are needed to end hunger before it begins.
