The Activities and Impacts of Community Food Projects 2005-2009 provides an extensive overview of the activities and impacts of Community Food Projects which received funding from the Community Food Projects Competitive Grants Program from 2005-2009. Community Food Projects support community food security including the management of Community Gardens, Youth/School Gardening or Agriculture projects, Promoting Local Food Purchases, Training and Technical Assistance, and Food Access and Outreach. This report analyzes the results of five years of data collected from Community Food Project grantees. This report highlights the reach of Community Food Projects and the results of their work to advance economic and social equity, healthy food access, and environmental stewardship.
