The Oregon Food Bank (OFB) Network of Regional Food Banks is a community of practice consisting of 20 regional food banks (16 independent nonprofits and 4 branches of OFB) that serve all of Oregon and Clark County, Washington. Our mission is to work as a network of Regional Food Banks to eliminate hunger and its root causes. In working towards this mission, our actions include:
• Advising Oregon Food Bank (OFB) on policies and procedures;
• Advocating policies that benefit low-income people;
• Collaborating with OFB to set organizational and service delivery benchmarks;
• Providing respectful service;
• Sharing information and offering assistance; and
• Striving to achieve fair and equitable distribution of resources within our service area.
