The Dayton-Montgomery County Food and Hunger Coalition (DMCFHC) is made up of various stakeholders in the community who have a vested interest in food access and food security who have come together to collaborate and identify projects that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of multiple agencies and those they serve. Utilizing the collective impact model, the DMCFHC aims to help to identify problems in the food community and implement unified, community wide, projects that address the most vulnerable people and most affect areas of our community. Additionally, the DMCFHC will form work-groups based on best practices for reducing food insecurity and increasing food security in order to see solutions and results on the ground and listen to the difficulties of these groups and non-profits as they occur.
