Save the Children is piloting Hunger Free Communities in 3 rural communities in Texas. We are working closely with Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty and 3 anchor institutions in each community. Our role is to provide funding, to ensure all parties are coordinating effectively, to evaluate the pilots, and to share learnings that can support and champion Hunger Free Communities work. We anticipate expanding our support of HFC work in other rural communities.
